Twenty-five participants are chosen each year to participate in the program.  Applications are available in January of each year and are due the last Friday in May.  Applicants will be notified of their acceptance in July before the program year begins again in October.

Tuition for the Bangor Region Leadership Institute is $725.  Tuition includes all course fees, catered meals and a certificate of program completion.  Most employers have chosen to invest in key employees by sponsoring them for all or most of the costs.  Scholarships for those who would otherwise unable to participate are available upon request.

How much time will the Project Teams require outside of the scheduled session?

Although you will have time during each session to reconnect with your team, time will be required outside of the sessions to complete the projects.  The amount of time required depends on your topic and focus area.  Some groups spend an additional 12 hours working on their project outside the provided class time.

How much of the day will each session take?

Each session will require a full day out of the office.  We strongly discourage participants from leaving a session early or coming late to avoid disrupting presentations and activities.  This allows every participant to get the most out of their BRLI experience.
