Picture the confluence of the Kenduskeag Stream and the Penobscot River as it was in the 1800s–ships filled the river and both banks of the stream teemed with activity. Taverns and brothels competed with shops, businesses and warehouses for attention. Nearby, the Bangor House hosted many of the famous and the most infamous people of the time. Imagine presidents, gangsters and ghosts as you take this educational and entertaining evening walk through Bangor history.
