The Bangor Band is made up of musicians dedicated to carrying on the tradition of band music that has become synonymous with the Bangor community. We are teachers, medical professionals, restaurateurs, retirees and talented high school and college students who share the same goal of making good music. Our 149-year history makes us one of the oldest community bands in the United States, and we are committed to upholding the legacy that has been passed on to our care. Under the spirited direction of Dr. Fred Goldrich, the Bangor Band is an exciting and entertaining group to both hear and see.
