On Thursday evening, starting at 7 p.m., seveal bands, including local Christian band Forgiven Steps, will be performing at the gazebo in Riverfront Park. On Friday evening, Elis tribute artist Joey Loring will perform at 7 p.m. Prior to the performance, the Old Town firefighters will be hosting a barbecue. The cost fod the barbecue is $6.00 per person.
On Saturday, the day will begin with the Go Fish Ride, a three-mile bicycle ride for children and parents sponsored by Old Town Parks and Rec Department. Children's games will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., as well as canoe and kayak rides and demonstrations on the river.
An auction will be held for specially made garden canoes and student-crafted paddles. Music will be performed throughout the day at the gazebo.
New this year will be Ways of the Woods: People and the Land in the Northern Forest. This is a mobile museum about forest hertiage, housed in a 53-foot semi trailer.
