The Maine Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) presents a month long exhibit of architectural photographs and graphics. The exhibit highlights the winners of the AIA’s 2008 Excellence in Design Awards.

Two hundred of Maine’s architects are members of the American Institute of Architects. Award winning designs range from wilderness getaway cottages to designs for some of Maine’s larger institutional buildings. Come see how today’s architects are meeting the challenges of tomorrow.

Artists Anita McCormick and Henry are showing their works in the showcase in the Bangor Library’s round Reading Room. Their exhibits are inspiring many would be fiberartists to express themselves with embroidery and explore the artistic possibilities of textiles.
