Hoops for Life is a 3 on 3 basketball tournament with 45 teams. The entry fee is $60 per team, or $20 per person. All proceeds will be donated to help fight ALS. It will all go down at the Job Corp basketball courts (the floors have just been re-finished) on outer Union Street. Kristian Terison will DJ the event and there will also be a performance by Big Time with Myke Billings as well as a BBQ and celebrity autograph signing with UFC fighter Marcus Davis. There will be cash prizes for the top three teams and all the other money raised will go to help fight ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's disease). Best of all, general attendance is free and all ages are welcome.
