9th Annual Mental Illness Awareness Walk

Distance: 3.5 miles
Walk begins at Twin City Plaza in Brewer – down State Street – to Penobscot Bridge – down Washington Street – down Central Street (through downtown Bangor) – up Main Street – Left on Chamberlain Bridge (to Brewer) – up Wilson Street – and across to Twin City Plaza.

What’s Happening:
All Walkers must register either via phone before the walk or on the day of the walk. Pre-registration is recommended – call 207.989.4007 x 236. Collecting pledges is not mandatory to participate! All walkers are welcome! If you are collecting pledges for the walk, please collect them all prior to the day of the walk and turn them in at the registration desk. Check should be made payable to OHI – fbo Mental Illness Awareness Week. All donations received will go toward mental illness awareness activities.
Children 12 years of age or younger must register with an adult.
The first 200 registrants will receive a FREE Mental Illness Awareness T-Shirt
Stay after the walk for a FREE BBQ and lively conversation!
We will walk – Rain or Shine – so dress accordingly.
