A 72' replica of a classic late 19th century steam ferry, The Patience was built in Stonington, Maine in 1982. The large open air upper deck lets you enjoy the passing sights, or enjoy your trip in the enclosed heated area below with modern facilities.
Enjoy a historic cruiseSome narration of the Penobscot River’s rich history will highlight most trips. The Penobscot River was once once the gateway to international trade during the 19th century, when Bangor was home to shipbuilding, steamships and lumber yards. Bangor today has preserved her fascinating history with museums and turn of the century architecture.
