Dr. Neil Comins
Space Travel: The Adventure and the Danger
Come hear one of the world’s foremost astronomers discuss his new book, "The Hazards of Space Travel: A Tourist's Guide."
Dr. Comins is an astrophysicist, astronomer, professor of physics and astronomy at the University of Maine, author of at least 10 published books on astronomy and space, and public speaker. He has "appeared" on over a hundred radio shows aired around the world, as well as numerous television shows. Over a third of a million copies of his books have been sold worldwide.
“The Hazards of Space Travel: A Tourist’s Guide” is written to give everyone, potential space traveler or not, an awareness of the dangers that people face in space. He hopes that it will help make people "informed consumers." Comins is also the author of the popular books “What if the Moon Didn’t Exist” and “Heavenly Errors.”
