You can participate either as an individual or part of a team of up to six swimmers. Participants swim either a one or two-mile course beginning and ending at Jenkins Beach. About 100 swimmers, 75 kayakers, and numerous other volunteers, including donors, help make BEACH to BEACH a success. All proceeds benefit Caring Connections, a cooperative women's health program of the Bangor Y and Eastern Maine Medical Center.
