Kim Newby has extensive experience structuring and negotiating business deals in Asia. She lived in Hong Kong and China for over a decade, working for the U.S. Department of Commerce, American Appraisal, and the law firms of Fulbright & Jaworski and Preston, Gates, & Ellis. Fluent in Mandarin, she studied politics and economics at Nanjing University through the JOhns Hopkins Center for Chinese and American Studies.
