ATTENTION SEWER USERS!!
The Town has been experiencing problems at our sewer pump station located at the corner of Mayo Road and Western Avenue.  The problem is caused by items being flushed and plugging the system on a daily basis.  Click here to learn how YOU CAN HELP!!!

CHANGES IN TRANSFER STATION OPERATION became effective April 30, 2008.  Click here to view the schedule and fees for disposal of items other than household trash, recyclables & swap shop items.

The Community Services Committee is seeking residents interested in being members of the newly formed Friends of Dorothea Dix Park group.  Interested individuals should contact Recreation Director Kurt Mathies at 862-6451 for more information.

The Town Council held a public hearing and adopted the final 2009 Budget on  Monday, June 16th.  The new budget should result in a mil rate increase of approximately $.28 over the 2008 mil rate.

TREE BOARD APPLICANTS NEEDED - The Town Council recently adopted a Tree Ordinance which established a Tree Board.  The Town Council has appointed 4 members to date and is seeking applicants to fill the last position to on this five-member board.
