Sutherland Weston Presents Top 10 Bangor Chamber Videos
Countdown will be unveiled one day at a time leading up to 2018 Awards Dinner
BANGOR, ME – Sutherland Weston Marketing Communications is counting down the Top 10 videos produced for the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards, as voted on by current and past employees. Sutherland Weston has produced videos for the annual dinner for nearly a decade, which has helped to make the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner the largest chamber event of its kind in the state.
“Producing the annual awards videos for the Bangor Chamber has been a great source of pride for our company, and one of things we cherish about this community,” said Elizabeth Sutherland, partner at Sutherland Weston. “The businesses, non-profits, and individuals who work so hard to make the Bangor region a better place to live, work, and play are rightfully spotlighted every year through these awards and videos. We put a great deal of time and effort into these videos as a contribution to the Chamber and the community as a whole.”
Sutherland Weston has produced around 50 videos for the awards since starting the practice earlier this decade. Some of the videos have gone viral and have been featured on national news broadcasts.
“We never really know what Sutherland Weston has up their sleeves when it comes to producing the videos of the awardees for our Annual Awards Dinner,” said Deb Neuman, President of the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce. “We trust them implicitly to produce videos that we know will be well-received by those being featured, by those in attendance at the event and no doubt, will be talked about at water coolers all over town the next day!”

Sutherland Weston will reveal one video in the countdown every day between now and the Annual Awards Dinner on January 26th. The #10 video was announced today and is called “Look How Far We’ve Come.” It was produced in 2011 by Sutherland Weston to honor the Greater Bangor Chamber of Commerce’s 100th anniversary. The video, and the rest of the daily countdown, can be seen on Sutherland Weston’s website at www.sutherlandweston.com/chamber-top-ten and on the Sutherland Weston social media pages.
“We try to have fun with the videos,” said Sutherland. “Our office culture is very creative, and we put that culture forth into these videos every year.”
The Greater Bangor Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner is being held on Friday, January 26 at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. Tickets are still available for the dinner, which will honor a number of award recipients, including Dysart’s as the 2018 Business of the Year.
