The Chamber’s Early Bird Breakfast is a well-recognized, respected and consistently attended event featuring speakers on topics of importance, relevance, and interest. Regularly covered by the media, this signature event is a prime opportunity for you and your team to reach and network with professionals and leaders of many industries in the Bangor Region. This event is held on the second or third Wednesday, nine months a year.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be recognized as the sponsor of the chamber’s most popular and consistently well attended event. Held monthly at a different business, this event has a waiting list of interested hosts more than a year out! Women’s Leadership Luncheon

This event affords a unique opportunity to “lean in and learn” from an established and well respected leader. The format is casual, comfortable and insightful as we have a conversation with a woman leader about her journey, leadership lessons learned, advice to others and future goals. Guests have included women leaders in business, education, healthcare, politics, the arts, science and athletics. Held quarterly throughout the year, this event is not for women only, but if you want to market your products and services to women, this is your opportunity!

The Chamber offers ribbon cutting events to members at no charge. These events are a great way to welcome a new business or celebrate their expansion in the Bangor region. By sponsoring this event, you are showing your support for business growth in the Bangor region and creating an instant partnership and affiliation with the new business and their partners. These events are held “as requested” and in many cases attract business leaders and media coverage. In 2024, the chamber held eleven ribbon cuttings.

Investment: $250 per ribbon cutting event

Advocacy is an important part of the chamber’s work to grow our region’s economy. By supporting our advocacy efforts, you are sending the message that you care about issues that matter to our members and the 21 communities we serve.

Investment: $1,000 annually

Hot Stove:
This free to members event is held one Saturday morning during the Legislative session to bring together policy makers and chamber members to discuss issues of importance.
You will be:
● Listed as a supporting sponsor on event collateral and promotions including newsletter, website, emails and social media
● Logo included on event signage
● Opportunity to place promotional materials in the event space
● Logo placement during the event, on the agenda and table signage

Issues of Impact:
Each year the chamber develops their “Issues of Impact” report that spells out the policy issues of most importance to the chamber.
You will be:
● Recognized with your name and logo in the “Issues of Impact” publication that is available at our website and distributed at Hot Stove and other advocacy events
● Acknowledgment in website, social media posts and sharing of the “Issues of Impact”

Advocacy Emails:
The chamber works to educate and inform our members about issues that may affect their businesses and organizations. We monitor bills during the Legislative session and other bills and policies of interest at the local, state and federal level.
You will be:
● Recognized with your name and logo on advocacy emails and communications to a mailing list of more than 2,000 recipients

Advocacy Events:
You will be recognized at all events held by the chamber with an advocacy focus. These events may include Early Bird Breakfasts, events in partnership with the Maine State Chamber of Commerce, and special events with policy makers.

This is a unique opportunity to get your name, business, and services directly in front of CEO’s who are the decision makers. The roundtable is held quarterly at the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce. This event is not publicized, but rather “by invitation” to CEOs only. Attendees include the CEOs of financial and healthcare institutions, private sector businesses, and not for profit organizations. Held quarterly, the CEOs gather for coffee, conversation and the opportunity to network, learn and share opportunities and challenges in a “safe” space.

Investment: $1,000 annually

Align your brand and promote your business in this visitor and relocation guide produced and published annually by the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce. Distributed widely through Maine’s visitor centers, travel shows, tour groups, airports, hotels, online, major employers and more, this is THE guide for all there is to see, do and experience in the Bangor region. The audience includes residents, visitors and those interested in moving to the Bangor region. In 2024, 30,000 copies were distributed.

Investment: $3,000 per publication

Annual Report (one available)

TENTATIVE HOLD FOR PRIOR YEAR SPONSOR
The chamber’s annual report celebrates the work of the chamber and highlights the economic success of the Bangor region. Available online in January or February, this report is heavily promoted, widely read, and distributed to community leaders. The chamber may do a short print run for special events.

Investment: $2,500 per publication

These events afford members an opportunity for chamber members to experience a venue, exhibit, or special event offered by another member of the chamber. These are different events from our popular Business After Hours, often providing opportunities for families to participate in a chamber event and to experience something special in the Bangor region. Prior members nights have been held at Treworgy Family Orchards, Waterfront Concerts, Bangor Drive-In, and the Anah Shriner’s Feztival of Trees. In 2025, we are expecting to hold an event at Waterfront Concerts and the Anah Shriner’s Feztival of Trees. Other events are likely, but not yet confirmed.

Members2Member E-News (one available)

Reach thousands of potential customers as the premier sponsor of our Member2Member e-newsletter! Distributed on a weekly basis (with a few exceptions), this publication features member business news, event flyers, ribbon cutting events, hot deals, and more. Your logo and/or ad will be prominently displayed and can be changed when and as often as you like. Distributed widely to a mailing list of more than 2,000 business leaders, you are sure to get your message out to existing and new customers.

Investment: $50.00 per e-newsletter (billed monthly or quarterly)

This is a unique opportunity to get your brand in front of groups, businesses and visitors who visit the chamber and use our conference room. You will have the opportunity to design, decorate and brand the space to best reflect your business or organization. You will be among an impressive list of building sponsors who recognize that the chamber office welcomes a diverse mix of groups, from area business leaders to young professionals, visitors and more. You will also have first “dibs” to use the room for business purposes free of charge!

Investment: $2,500 annually with a 3 year commitment (sponsor is responsible for costs incurred decorating, branding, furnishing the space)

Is AI your thing? Do you want to learn more about it? Do you want to connect with business leaders who want to learn more about it? The chamber will be offering 4 to 5 workshops during the summer of 2025 to educate and inform attendees about the latest trends, opportunities, benefits and best practices.

Starting in 2025, chamber staff will visit and spotlight two chamber member businesses each month. Businesses will be selected at random from those who recently renewed their membership. This will celebrate their continued support and encourage others to renew for the chance to be featured! Photos and videos will be produced and shared to the chamber’s social platforms and our “Destination Bangor” social platforms. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to align your brand with and support small businesses while building awareness and engagement for your business and brand on social media.
