We are excited to welcome you to the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce! Now that you are part of this robust organization, here’s what you can expect from us and what you should do asap to reap the benefits of Chamber membership.

A member of our team will reach out to meet with you, learn about you and your business, provide an overview of Chamber member benefits and discuss how we can best help you achieve your goals. We will add you to our email list to keep you informed about Chamber happenings, upcoming events, advocacy updates and news you can use.
Bring us your stuff!
As a member of the Chamber you can display your businesses business cards, brochures and publications in our visitors center at our office located in downtown Bangor. Stop by, say hi and drop it off!
Be sure to like the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce social pages (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter) for news about members, upcoming events, issues of interest and exciting things happening in our region!

As a new member you will be included in our next newsletter, Member 2 Member e-newsletter and on social media!
Share your news with us!
Let us know when you have news to share. We can share your social media posts and when you post news releases to your “Member Portal”they will be picked up and included in our monthly Member 2 Member e-newsletter!
Set up your “Member Portal”
When you join the Chamber you will set up a log in and password (or we can set it up for you) that gives you free access to your “Member Portal” on our website. By integrating your business into our site, you will see immediate results in search engine optimization and that means more exposure for your business! On your portal you can post information about your business including a description, hours of operation, logo, photos and videos. You can use this portal to post announcements, news releases and job openings. Need help: Check out these video tutorials that will walk you through the process.
Find valuable connections on our website
Using the business directory search feature on our website, you can immediately search for Chamber members businesses and contacts to help you grow your business and achieve your goals.
Insert a flyer in our monthly newsletter
We publish and distribute a monthly member newsletter eleven months out of the year to a mailing list of more than 1,000 member businesses and community leaders. You can reach a large and engaged audience by inserting an 8.5″ x 11″ flyer in the newsletter as a way to promote your business, announce a special for the month, a grand opening, relocation, a new hire and more! The regular rate for insertion is $150 per newsletter.
As a new member we will waive your first insertion fee! All you have to do is design the flyer, arrange for printing (we are happy to connect you to Chamber member printing businesses or we can print it for you at an additional cost) and get it to us by the 15th of the month to be included in the next month’s newsletter!
Join us for an event!
New members are encouraged to attend Chamber events to meet other members, network and have fun! Events are listed on our website and newsletters, posted to our social channels and included in email updates. Let us know if you would like to attend an event and we will be sure to meet you there, make you feel welcome and introduce you to other members!
Sponsor and advertise!
Another great way to engage with our membership and to promote your business is to sponsor one of our many events or advertise on our website, an email ad or one of our pillar publications. We can work with you to find the right opportunity, or create a new one that best accomplishes your goals!
